APPEL DE PROJETS – EXPO DES MEMBRES 2022

L’équipe du Centre de production DAÏMÔN est heureuse d’annoncer la tenue prochaine d’une exposition collective de ses membres!

Nous invitons l’ensemble de nos membres à proposer une œuvre d’art médiatique (arts sonores, arts électroniques et robotiques, cinématographie et vidéographie, photographie, etc) d’ici le 25 mars 2022. Ces œuvres composeront le corpus de la première exposition multidisciplinaire de DAÏMÔN et soulignera ses 35 ans d’engagement dans la communauté.

CONTRAINTES

En vue d’assurer que chaque œuvre soit équitablement mise en valeur, veuillez vous assurer que votre proposition respecte les contraintes suivantes :

  • Une œuvre installée au mur est d’au plus 36’’ de large
  • Une œuvre au sol occupe une surface maximale de 36’’ x 36’’ et son poids n’excédera 100 livres
  • Une œuvre cinématographique ou sonore sera d’une durée maximale de 10 minutes

Le centre se réserve le droit de procéder à une sélection si la totalité des propositions dépasse les limites physiques du lieu de présentation.

PRENEZ NOTE :

  • Cet appel est réservé aux membres actifs du Centre de production DAÏMÔN;
  • L’artiste ne peut proposer qu’une (1) œuvre;
  • Votre formulaire de participation doit nous parvenir au plus tard le 25 mars à 17h à l’adresse soumission@daimon.qc.ca ;
  • Vous devez livrer votre œuvre au Centre les 12 ou 13 mai 2022 entre 10h et 17h;
  • L’exposition se tiendra du 19 mai au 1er juin. Les heures d’ouverture, visites guidées et toutes autres activités en lien avec l’exposition collective des membres seront adaptés aux mesures sanitaires en vigueur à ce moment;
  • L’installation des œuvres sera prise en charge par l’équipe de DAÏMÔN;
  • Un cachet d’exposition de 367$ par artiste (tarif CARFAC 2022- exposition collective – catégorie I) sera versé à tout membre exposant.

The Centre de production DAÏMÔN is pleased to announce an upcoming members collective exhibition!

We invite all our members to submit a work of media art (sound arts, electronic and robotic arts, cinematography and videography, photography, etc.) by March 25th, 2022. These works will make up the corpus of the first DAÏMÔN multidisciplinary exhibition and will highlight its 35 years commitment to the community.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to ensure that each work is equally highlighted, please ensure that your proposal respects the following requirements:

  • Any artwork installed on the wall is no more than 36” wide
  • Any artwork on the ground occupies a maximum surface of 36” x 36” and its weight will not exceed 100 pounds
  • A cinematographic or sound piece will have a maximum duration of 10 minutes

DAÏMÔN reserves the right to make a selection if all of the proposals exceed the physical limits of the available exhibition spaces.

PLEASE NOTE

  • This call is reserved for active DAÏMÔN members;
  • The artist can only submit one (1) artwork;
  • Your participation form must be submitted no later than March 25th at 5:00 p.m.;
  • You must deliver your work to the Center on May 12th or 13th, 2022 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.;
  • The exhibition will be held from May 19th to June 1st. The opening hours, guided tours and all other activities related to the members’ collective exhibition will be adapted to the health measures in force at that time;
  • The installation of the works will be taken care of by the DAÏMÔN team;
  • An exhibition fee of $367.00 per artist (CARFAC 2022 rate – collective exhibition – category I) will be paid to any exhibiting member.
