NOTICE TO MEMBERS
Over the past year, DAÏMÔN’s Board of Directors and team have been working to develop a strategic plan aimed at fully supporting our Centre’s mission: to support research-creation, production and dissemination of media and digital arts in Outaouais, while remaining a resource center for all artists and cultural organizations in the region.
As a result of this exercise, aiming at maintaining a wide variety of services and maintaining a quality DAÏMÔN member experience, as well as rationalizing expenses, several measures have recently been adopted. These will come into effect in September 2024. All these initiatives are aimed at optimizing resources, improving accessibility to creative spaces and services, and offering greater flexibility to DAÏMÔN members.
NEW SCHEDULES
- Tuesday to Friday: 10 am @ 5 pm
- Saturday: 12 pm @ 5 pm
* Our appointment policy remains in effect. It is strongly recommended to reserve creative spaces, equipment and services in advance.
SIMPLIFIED RATES
Our rate structure has been simplified! Now there are only 3 types of membership, a unified rate for access to our three laboratories (Electro, Image and Photo) and a new rate for access to our two studios (Ambisonic and Multifunction). All of which will enable you to take full advantage of the various creative spaces.
Memberships
Student membership: $25 / year
Professional artist member: $50 / year
Organization member: $100 / year
Creative space rental
Labs
Student and artist members: $10/hour or $60/10-hour block
Organization members: $15/hour or $100/10-hour block
Studios
Student and artist members: $50/hour or $250/day
Organization members: $75/hour or $350/day
ENHANCED COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM
Artists and organizations in the Gatineau, Ottawa and Outaouais regions, developing a media and/or digital arts project can now benefit from enhanced support of up to 40% of the project’s total value.
