Imagine a space where encounters create art. What happens when the body encounters the digital world in ways other than through a screen? What if our gestures, sensations, and presence became interfaces?

DAÏMÔN will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday, February 7, at 1 p.m., inviting artists and curious minds to come and discover the fruits of Marie-Eve Morissette‘s process in the Center’s creative spaces.

The artist and designer in residence at DAÏMÔN is working on an interactive installation inspired by the idea of humans becoming raw material in a digital context. The installation, composed of works created from the artist’s own fallen hair knotted onto tulle, offers a subtle and organic encounter between the human and the digital.

78 Hanson Street, Multifunction Studio | Free admission | Free parking
