Collective Exhibition
May 11th to 25th, 2023

The Centre de production DAÏMÔN team is pleased to invite you to the 2023 collective Photo Challenge Exhibition, bringing together 22 of our members works.

As an artist-run center whose mission is to support research-creation, production and dissemination of media arts, DAÏMÔN deploys its mission through residency programs, access to creative spaces, state-of-the-art equipment and museum-quality prints, workshops and training, special events and practice circles. We aim to foster interaction between members of the community, to encourage the sharing of experiences and expertise, and to encourage peer learning.

It is in this context of experimentation and exchange that the Film Photography Challenge was launched.

From April 3rd to May 5th, 22 DAÏMÔN members took up the challenge to capture, develop and exhibit the results of their work in this exhibition.

The exhibition will be running from May 11th and May 25th. A closing finissage will be held on Thursday May 25th from 5 to 7PM. Votes for the Photo Challenge will be accepted until 6PM that evening and the winners of the Challenge will be announced during our AGM.

The Centre de production DAÏMÔN would like to thank the AXENÉO7 artist-run center and the Canada Council for the Arts for their valuable collaboration and support in the realization of this challenge and this collective exhibition project.
