Radio-Hull 2026 | Call for Projects
Radio-Hull, a multidisciplinary, ephemeral radio festival, returns from September 3 to October 1, 2026! Two call for projects are open until July 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. We invite you to submit a project proposal related to this year’s theme: PAN PAN!
pan-pan /pæn pæn/ n. a radio code used to signal a situation that does not present an immediate threat to life but requires urgent attention.
Pan /pæn/ n. a mythical creature from Greek mythology associated with vernacular culture and music made with improvised means.
pan /pɑ:n/ n. or “panoramic,” an audio production technique that allows sounds to be positioned within the soundscape, typically from left to right and vice versa.
| Call for new works
We invite you to submit a project proposal for a new sound work related to this year’s theme. Three projects will be selected and will receive a short creation residency and mentoring from Marc A. Reinhardt, the festival’s curator, as well as a creation fee and broadcast royalties of $900.

| Call for existing works
You are invited to submit original sound works that have not yet been broadcasted during a previous Radio-Hull edition. All works submitted will be evaluated by a jury of peers while considering the theme of this upcoming edition. Projects selected through this call will receive a broadcast usage fee of $250.
